The conference day is presented with the support of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27/WG 3, the working group responsible for the development of ISO/IEC 19790, and is held in conjunction with the International Conference on the EU Cybersecurity Act.
Participants of the conference will receive an update on the several standards that build the ecosystem around ISO/IEC 19790 through presentations by certification schemes and vendors.
Mr. Ferenc Molnár, along with Mr. Fritz Bollmann, Head of Software Certification at Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI), Germany; Mr. Alan Gornall, Consultant at Rycombe Consulting, United Kingdom; and Mr. David Mudd, Global Head of Digital Trust Assurance at BSI Group, United Kingdom, will participate in the panel discussion on how crypto is tested in Europe. The panel discussion, moderated by Pascal van Gimst, VP of Global Services Sales at Riscure, will aim to open the discussion among the relevant stakeholders in the area of cryptography, providing insights from different countries/schemes in the area of cryptography and the need for the creation of a crypto certification at European level.
