CCLab reached an important milestone in 2023, as it celebrated its 10th anniversary on April 3. The entire team celebrated this significant event with a 2-day trip at the breathtaking Avalon Resort & Spa in Miskolctapolca at the beginning of May. This remarkable event was full of excitement, heartfelt moments, and learning, just as CCLab has been for the past 10 years.
The first day of the celebration was spent with entertaining lectures and workshops. To kickstart the festivities, we invited renowned Hungarian mathematician, publicist, and psychologist, László Mérő, to deliver a captivating scientific stand-up performance. Following his entertaining show, the team engaged in an interactive workshop designed to nurture the organization's development. The workshop served as a platform for developing fresh ideas and refining strategies as a team, which promoted the continuous development typical of CCLab, and at the same time provided colleagues with great fun.
Nostalgia filled the air as our founding co-owners, Ferenc Molnár and Zoltán Karászi shared entertaining anecdotes and memories from the company’s early days in an interview. The interview was enriched with videos of former and current colleagues, in which they recounted their memories and greetings related to the company. It was a heartwarming reminder of the company's roots and the perseverance that has driven CCLab's success.
At the end of the ceremony, we presented gifts to those colleagues who have been committed to CCLab for 5 and 10 years and have been helping the company's success with their work ever since.
While the event was filled with intellectual and professional moments, it also offered plenty of opportunities for pure fun and relaxation. The team could relax in the hotel's luxurious wellness area, and the dance fans could show off their best moves at the evening party. Finally, the 2-day birthday party ended with a super go-kart race.
In every way, the two-day celebration was a tribute to the incredible journey CCLab has gained over the past decade. This event celebrated our achievements, unique corporate culture, atmosphere, and outstanding professionals that have brought CCLab to its current prominent position in the field of cybersecurity.
We would also like to thank our Partners and Customers for the last 10 years. We are grateful that together we could make the world a more secure place.

In cybersecurity, the Common Criteria (CC) is a cornerstone that provides a standardized framework for evaluating the security capabilities of eligible IT products. It is a vital tool for manufacturers seeking to assess the effectiveness and reliability of security solutions in the face of evolving threats. However, as technology advances at an unprecedented pace, the challenges faced by IT security professionals continue to grow. The new version of the CC (CC:2022 Revision 1) was published in November 2022.

In today's digital landscape, where cybersecurity threats loom large, and trust is paramount, Common Criteria certification emerges as a beacon of assurance. This globally recognized standard sets the bar for IT product security, instilling confidence in customers, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Beyond mere validation, it serves as a shield against potential risks, fortifying organizations' defenses and fostering a culture of safety in the digital realm.
